Well done to our U11 and U13 mixed teams who both won tonight against Gordonstoun girls. Our U11's played well together as a team and finished up winning 9-0. The U13's also played well but their match was a lot closer and it was particularly nervy at the end but they held on and won 3-2.

Thanks to the parents for driving through and to Steve and James for coaching.

It was back to Gordonstoun again tonight where our girls took on Gordonstoun U14's. We had a full team with a sub but unfortunately no goal keeper. The first half was an even affair and we took the lead about half way through. Gordonstoun equalised shortly afterwards with a break away goal. After the break our older girls started to dominate and we were keeping the Gordonstoun defence under pressure. We scored 5 more goals in this half and only conceded 1 so the full time result was 6-2 to Quasar.

Thanks to Pam for coaching and the parents for driving through.

The girls were on their travels again today with a trip through to Inverness to play the Highland District U16's. The game was split into 4 15 minute periods and apart from Quasar conceding their customary early goal the first period was evenly balanced. Highland got the better of the next period and a lack of focus on our part saw them scoring 3 more goals. We managed to tighten things up after that and our forwards were starting to see a lot more of the ball. After some prolonged pressure we were awarded a penalty corner which we scored from. A fitting reward for the effort the girls put in. The last period was again evenly balanced but Highland managed to score another meaning the final result was 5-1. Well done girls there was plenty of effort and good play shown today.

Thanks to the parents for driving through and to Highland for providing both umpires. Glad I didn't have to run about in the heat.
